Tide Archive Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026 · Android app: win.jxdc.tidearchive

Tide Archive is a daily coastal puzzle game published by AI Innovation. This policy explains how the Android app handles information.

Your game data

Your puzzle progress, saved dates, moves, hint and undo usage, tutorial settings, and music preferences are stored in the app on your device. The game does not send these records to a game server. There is no in-game account, advertising, analytics service, or in-app purchase system.

Internet and update checks

An internet connection and Google Play are required when starting the app. Tide Archive sends an HTTPS request to a Google connectivity service to check the connection. That service receives your IP address and standard connection information. The request includes a temporary random value and does not contain your puzzle progress or music preferences.

The app then uses Google Play's in-app update service. According to Google's documentation, this service handles device metadata, the application version, and the list of installed modules and asset packs to determine whether an update is available and its expected size. Google states that this update data is encrypted, is not transferred to third parties, and is deleted after a fixed retention period.

Google Play handles this processing in its own processes under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. See Google's in-app update data safety documentation for details. Installing an update requires your confirmation in Google Play.

Saving, backups and deletion

Local game records remain on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. App updates preserve the existing local save. Android backup and device-transfer settings may include app data; those system features are controlled by your device settings and service provider.

To remove local records, open Android Settings, find Tide Archive under Apps, and clear its storage. This resets your progress and preferences. Google controls the retention of information handled by its connection and update services.
